SIA "OŠUKALNS"

SIA “Ošukalns” began its operations in 1993 with a focus on the development of the forestry sector. Over time, the latest technologies have been introduced, and specialists have learned how to manage forests more economically and efficiently, reducing production costs.

On average, the company harvests over 100,000 cubic meters of roundwood annually—about 35,000 from private forests, with the rest acquired through auctions from the state joint-stock company “Latvijas Valsts meži.” Part of the harvested wood is used in the company’s own sawmills, while another part is exported.

The forestry division is led by specialists with many years of experience and accumulated knowledge. All team members have specialized education, which has been continuously enhanced over the years. The company operates throughout Latvia, also specializing in forest cultivation and maintenance.
